How to Make Ice Cream at Home. Ice cream is such a sweet that everyone likes to eat. Nobody ever refuses this, even if the weather is cold. Everyone is interested in ice cream, no one can refuse it. In summer, it is such a food item that cools the body and mind.

For children, ice cream is like a party treat, which they always like to eat. There are a lot of ice cream companies and varieties in the market, but these always have a worse effect on pocket of a common man. Many people want to make ice cream at home, but they do not have the right way. Many people know the way, but do not taste like the market.

There are many flavors of ice cream, but the base is the same for all of them. Let’s teach you how to make different types of ice cream today.

How to Make Ice Cream at Home

The process of making ice cream is completed in 2 steps, first the base and then giving it flavor.

Ice Cream Base –

The table below gives you the ingredients to make ice cream base.

Material Name & Quantity

Milk ½ kg

Sugar 5 tablespoons

GMC Powder (G.M.C) ½ tablespoons

AS 4 Powder (A.S-4) ¼ tablespoons

Milk powder 50 g

How to make ice cream base

  • Keep the milk warm, when it becomes slightly hot, then take out 100 grams of milk from it.
  • Add GMC powder, AS4 powder and milk powder to this 100 grams of milk and mix well. Mix it very well so that there are no lumps.
  • Now mix it back in the hot milk, and let it boil for 2 minutes.
  • When it comes to a boil, add sugar to it, and then let it cook for 7–8 minutes.
  • Your base is ready.
  • Allow this base to cool to room temperature.
  • When it becomes normal, put it in a box and keep it set in the freezer.
  • Once the base is made, you can make ice cream of any kind from it.
  • (Tips) — Use condensed milk to make ice cream, if possible take buffalo milk, it is more thick, which makes ice cream better.

For ice cream base, milk does not have to boil for very long. To thicken it, you do not have to boil it much, the powder added to it makes it thicker by itself.

Vanilla Flavour Recipe –

Material Name & Quantity

Vanilla essence 10–12 drops

Fresh Cream 100 g

  • When the ice cream base is well set in 6–7 hours, take it out according to your need and keep it in a deep pot.
  • To grind the ice cream correctly, you will need a beater.
  • Mix the ice cream base for 5–7 min in beater.
  • After this, add vanilla essence to it and then grind for 10–12 minutes.
  • At this time the amount of ice cream will be twice as much as the base, and it will be very light.
  • Now add fresh cream and grind it again for 1–2 minutes.
  • Now pour this vanilla ice cream into airtight plastic or aluminum box, put aluminum foil on it and then cover it.
  • It will take 7–8 hours to set well. In the meantime, do not open the ice cream repeatedly, by doing so, the air in the box goes away, which causes ice in the ice cream.

Tips

The problem of snow in the home ice cream is very common. For this, you have to use a good box, even by cutting the newspaper instead of aluminum foil, it does not get air in it.

Whenever ice cream is made at home, children do not have patience. They often open the freezer again and again. If possible, when the ice cream is set in the freezer, then at least open the freezer but do not open the box at all before 7–8 hours.

Many people also make ice cream in the mixer grinder. But my experience says that the grinder ice cream comes out better than the mixer. In a grinder, the base is melted and diluted instead of being light as cream which does not resemble the ice cream market.

Butterscotch Flavour Recipe –

The most popular ice cream after vanilla is butter scotch. It can also made easily at home.

Material Name & Quantity

Butter 2 tablespoons

Cream 100 grams

Butter Scotch Essence 6–7 drops

Lemon yellow color (Eater) 4–5 drops

Sugar 100 grams Cashew almond 50 grams

Cocoa powder ½ tablespoons

How to make Scotch –

  • Finely chop cashews, and almonds.
  • Now pour sugar in a pan, when it starts to melt lightly, then add cashew almond pieces and cocoa powder.
  • Mix it well
  • Now spread it quickly on the kitchen platform or in a flat plate.
  • It will harden as it cools.
  • Break it finely, Scotch is ready.
  • Take the ice cream base mentioned above, add butter, yellow color and butter scotch essence to it.
  • Now grind it with beater for 10–12 minutes.
  • Now add fresh cream and grind it again for 5–7 minutes.
  • Finally add scotch, mix lightly with your hands and put newspaper or aluminum foil in the air-tight box and set it in the freezer.
  • You should have ice cream in 7–8 hours.

How to make Tutti Fruity Ice Cream-

Material Name & Quantity

Mix fruit essence ½ tablespoons

Red color (eater) 5 drops

Broken-Fruit 2 tablespoons

Fresh Cream 100 g

  • Grind the ice cream base for 10–12 minutes.
  • Now add Essence, Red Color and Fresh Cream to it and grind it for 5–6 minutes.
  • Finally, add broken-fruity and mix it lightly with hands and put them in an air-tight box in a freezer by placing newspaper or aluminum foil.
  • Broken-fruity ice cream like market will be ready in 7–8 hours.

Pineapple Ice Cream Recipe –

Material Name & Quantity

Pieces of pineapple 100 g

Fresh Cream 100 g

Pineapple Essence 5–6 drops

Yellow color 2–3 drops

  • Grind the ice cream base for 10–12 minutes.
  • Now add fresh cream, pineapple essence and yellow color and grind it for 4–5 minutes.
  • Finally add fine pieces of pineapple and mix it lightly.
  • Then put newspaper or aluminum foil in the air tight box and keep it set in the freezer.
